    HiBy R2 - HiBy's entry-level HiFi digital audio player

Passable if you're using wired earphones. They're good with my Etymotic ER3 XR. You have to be willing to forgive somewhat poor build quality and a less than perfect but still functional UI. A strong no if your intended use is with anything requiring bluetooth.

    HiBy R2 - HiBy's entry-level HiFi digital audio player

I purchased my R2 from Linsoul. To return it I'd have to take a 35% 'restocking' hit. Also It took them much longer than the three days they claim on their site to send it out in the first place. Worse, when I thought about returning it I did some more reading about the company and it seems...

    HiBy R2 - HiBy's entry-level HiFi digital audio player

I understand how the hype machine works in the home audio world. What I'll say in return is the R2 is poorly made with a lack of attention to detail in both the UI and physical construction. e.g. The buttons rattle in their housing and the cases don't fit properly. In the instance of my...

    HiBy R2 - HiBy's entry-level HiFi digital audio player

I'll agree with your dad, bluetooth has been a poor wireless system since day one. That's why I've kept my bluetooth audio investments modest. Hence the R2, the Status BT Transfer, JBL Tune 115 and Sony SRS-XB43 are my current dips into the pool to determine if bluetooth audio is ready for...

    HiBy R2 - HiBy's entry-level HiFi digital audio player

If I go to the album view and tap the vertical ellipsis menu I can select album and from that point the album will play sequentially. It's not an intuitive or logical process; the Hiby R2 user interface is poor. Sadly that's nothing compared to the real problem. The player's bluetooth...

    HiBy R2 - HiBy's entry-level HiFi digital audio player

Yes, I've seen those toggles and tried them. I still get the player moving alphabetically through all of the tracks; they don't appear to do anything. Also, are others experiencing regular bluetooth drop outs? I've connected my R2 to two different sets of bluetooth iems and in both cases even...

    HiBy R2 - HiBy's entry-level HiFi digital audio player

Just received my Hiby R2. It doesn't appear to allow the option of playing albums sequentially. That's counter intuitive, does anyone know how to to get it to do so?

New Release----Mixcder Wired Earbuds X5 Tests and Reviews Start now

Today I received the X5. Initial impressions are positive; tonight I'll be listening to music and watching a movie with the IEMs in my ears. Tomorrow I'll take them to the gym and see if they're appropriate companions for lifting.

Mixcder/Denise:  It's the fault of the Colombian postal system.  Packages arrive eventually but almost never quickly/on time.

I think my review will be late.  It's Semana Santa here (Easter) and mail service won't even start again until tomorrow.  I don't expect to receive the X5 soon.

Brainwavz B200 Dual Balanced Armature Earphones Released

Balanced, neutral and clear should (ideally) be the goal of earphone tuning.  In my experience balanced armatures are the best way to get there with the exception of the bass frequencies which often sound more realistic coming from a dynamic driver.

Brainwavz M100 Earphones - New Release

I didn't try EQ because for the purposes of a review I want to tell the reader what they'd be getting from the stock experience.  I do believe you're likely right; it's obvious the driver used is high quality and a little experimenting might yield interesting results.
