Too bad we cant meet, otherwise i would bet you you wouldnt be able to tell which is which if you didnt know beforehand :). Unless the BTR7 intentionally colors the sound like the ifi blu does.- DeJaVu

Power output difference imo isnt worth mentioning as a pro for the BTR7, as in reality 320mw its a 1db loudness difference over 240mw. Also max voltage output is 3.2v on the balanced port fpr the BTR7, while its 4v on the 5K, meaning 5K will be louder with higher impedance headphones. Edit...- DeJaVu

aptX Adaptive / aptX Lossless USB Transmitters
The stream gets encoded(compressed) at the transmitter side, sent to the receiver at lower rate than 1411(ive seen FLACs at around 700-800kbps), and decoded(decompressed) at the receiver side. 1411kbps is the rate for uncompressed 44/16 audio. It can be compressed and still be lossless, lossless...- DeJaVu

Still only 5 band GEQ... Its a real shame that bt chip DSP capabilities arent used to its full potential :frowning2:. Also curious does the GEQ finally work with LDAC, or still same story and max it works with is aptx HD?- DeJaVu

Power is voltage multiplied by current. For low impedance you need an amp that can provide higher voltage(its what affects the power output, current is decided/limited by the impedance).- DeJaVu

Yup fair assessment, if i remember correctly they didnt make any use of the updated chip in W3 Sabre compared to the original W3. Maybe they implemented something by mistake in this new one :). Like upgrade the EQ finally and LC3 support, which would be possible with the new chip. One can always...- DeJaVu

Just noticed Hiby has released W3 II. QCC 5125 with bt 5.2 and CS43131 DAC. Has anyone had a chance to play around with it? @ClieOS any plans on doing a review on that unit?- DeJaVu

I assume they forgot to remove the limit in the mobile apps. Left them a message, so theyll probably fix it.- DeJaVu

Q7 was the limit for v2 firmware, but in my short playing around with v3 through the chrome extension i see that Q can go up to 15 now. Edit: Just tried through the android app, and it wont allow value higher than 7, so probably a bug, idk. Edit2: If you set Q value of 15 in the chrome...- DeJaVu

Doesnt matter if its iems or full sized headphones, what matters is the sensitivity. You can have iem and HP with same sensitivity and have same battery life. So you need to compare 2 specific models(iems and HPs). Edit: For some reason i read your comment as if youre asking compared to IEMs...- DeJaVu

You wont be ever dangerously draining it. Dangerously draining it would be going below 2.5v, safe is considered 3v, 3.3v and above is for longevity. Qudelix 5K has cutoff voltage at 3.5v under load, meaning it would recover few milivolts when the load has stopped, meaning it will be above 3.5v...- DeJaVu

Proper Li-Ion charging involves 2 stages, CC(constant current) and CV(constant voltage). When it reaches the 100% full voltage(in 5K case 4.35v.) charging circuit continues charging and monitors the voltage not to overshoot 4.35v and it gradually decreases current till it gets to about 10% of...- DeJaVu
