FiiO F5- Aerospace Titanium Diaphragm In-ear Monitor
Or maybe you guys could talk to people at Soundmagic. They have 'magically' made E10c (and others) remote fully compatible with both Android and iOS without requiring a switch. Just a thought.- davedm

Shanling M2s Hi-Res DAP with AK4490 + MUSE8920, Bluetooth, & USB Out
Maybe only screen is malfunctioning. Have you tried connecting headphones to see if any music could be played using hardware buttons.- davedm

Fiio X5 3rd gen || 2x AKM 4490 || Balanced Out || DSD || DXD | DTS | Android || Dual Card Slot
Nop No, I mean can it receive Bluetooth from smartphone using Aptx codec and play through headphones (3.5mm/ 2.5mm)? There are players (caying N3, shanling m2s) that can do this but not with Aptx.- davedm

@FiiO Can X5iii receive music via aptx (or even SBC) and play it ala caying N3/ shanling M2s (although these support only SBC)? Though I must admit, I do not see the need for this, I am just asking if it could ? Thanks- davedm

Aune M1s Impressions & Discussion Thread (Aune's newest hi-res DAP with ESS9018KM + 2.5mm Balanced Out)
Is there a pattern to the stuttering problem? for example if only high resolution files 24/192 or DSD128 are stuttering or even 16/44 files are also stuttering? if only high res files stutter then the problem could be related to m1s. Try contacting Aune in this case. Could you try to use dacport...- davedm

To add to what @puppyfi has said, those who are suspecting their cards can follow these steps to avoid doubting their cards. Format the card with SD formatter found here. Make sure to use overwrite option. This will confirm that your card is not corrupted. Format the card with Aune's utility...- davedm

Android phones and USB DACs
Apologies for delayed response. G4 behavior is the normal behavior of an android phone. As soon as you connect a USB audio device, audio from any app will be directed to it. However this will be through android audio architecture for most apps and there are quality concerns with this...- davedm

Android phones and USB DACs
Which DAC are you using with it? Normally you should put your DAC in USB mode (if it has multiple input options) and connect with your phone via USB/USB OTG cable as the case may be. Android should detect the DAC and audio should be diverted to DAC automatically.- davedm
