Just ordered the Final Audio Type E, i hope it will match my ears with the Scarlet shape ! I have already tried it when i had EE Legend EVO, the Type E are the provided tips in the orginal bundle.

It was only for the good looking amp with the transparent glass like the K9 :wink: And the K9 Pro ESS is 850€ here in France.

The Topping DX9 is also beatiful with great specs, i am considering it even it’s overkill for Scarlet !

It didn’t make a huge difference for me… but i would be curious to make a direct comparison with Scarlet.

I had the Empire Ears Legend Evo before the Scarlet, but unfortunately not at the same time so no A/B comparison. What I can say is that I don't regret the EVO, the Scarlet are much smaller and therefore more comfortable for me. In terms of bass I would say that there is more on the Scarlet...

Very nice reviews thanks ! Good pairing with the Fiio Q7, the Scarlet are quite power hungry, i set volume to around 50% on Super High gain. I also use Scarlet to watch movies with the bluetooh connection of my TV and my Fiio Q7, and damn it is so good ! I feel like i have a subwoofer without...

Thanks. Actually I only listen at home. But I'm still hesitant to go for a portable or transportable dac/amp which would be more versatile. For example Xduoo XD05 BAL which I already had in the past.
