i have to agree with @expat852 here. I tried that 1500 with the dac out of my iphone. The dac was pretty unspectacular, tried line in and definitely had improvements even on a short listening session. Will go back on saturday for a longer demo.   Kind of disappointing that you need to carry...

Can you elaborate on what setup did you use to test? amp/dac/dap? tracks used? file sample rate? compared to any other headphones?     i think people are a bit skeptical at your very one sided reply,   could you explain the reasons as to why you dismissed the alpha primes in just 2 words...

just received my micro usb to lightning cable from Konstantin @lavricables. Excellent build quality, works just fine out of iOS 9.1 on both my 5s and 6s Plus.   He was very fast in communicating, and sending these out. Would recommend to any iOS users here!
