How do you guys rip your CD's, software, format, external drives? I've just been using my macbook pro's CD drive ripping into flac with MAX, would you audiophiles frown upon my methods? 

+1 to SR60i if you're willing to pay a bit more, £82 on amazon. For £40 I have and like the Sennheiser HD238's. They are very comfortable for long listening and sound great.

    This sounds perfect for me, where can I find these to buy preferably in the UK? I don't mind buying a used one if i have to but I would much prefer buying new as I'm quite the clean freak and don't like the idea of using other peoples equipment ^^

I'll be getting the HE-500's this christmas so I can always compare the voyager with my brothers E9 as a cheaper way of amping the headphones. I have to say, I was surprised at the comments of the voyager having low output power as it certainly seems at least twice as powerful as my iPhone 4 to me

Another option could be to use the PTH for the Shure SE530's so you don't have to take them out and then buying a graham slee voyager headphone amp if you wanted to upgrade the sound. It can be connected via the line out of your iPhone 4 to bypass the iPhones built in inferior headphone out...
