I stuck my Sandisk 1TB Extreme Pro into my ZX707, pulled straight from my NW-ZX2, no problem, works like a charm.

Could the 707 be used as an audio recorder with a USB mic and some kind of Android recording app? I have made some wickedly good field recordings with my iPhone and an iOS app called Ferrite, just using the built in iPhone mics. Ferrite allows lossless 24/44.1 recording on the phone.

any reason to think I can't just take my MicroSD card out of my existing A45 and put it into a new A306 and have it read the files correctly? any risk of damaging the data on the card?

Is the volume limited only for the headphone jack, or does it also limit output via Bluetooth? Isn't it true that in a Bluetooth connection, the Walkman's amp isn't used, offloading amplification to the headphones?

Does the EU volume cap affect Bluetooth connections? If I connect a Walkman via Bluetooth to a pair of WH-1000XM4s, isn't the amplification happening in the headphones, not on the Walkman? thanks.

I have been very happy with the NAD VISO HP50 over ear phones with the NW-ZX2.

I have been using the SRS-X55 with my NW-ZX2...sounds great.  Easy pairing. 

Briefly, I love the PHA-3, and it sounds gorgeous, especially in balanced mode, from the NW-ZX2.   Having said that, I am continually amazed at how good the NW-ZX2 sounds all by itself.

You are right!  I meant to say that all the files I play are lossless, many are 24 bit, and 96k sample rate or higher.

I use a NW-ZX2 with a Mac.   I created a new, additional iTunes library on the Mac, pointing the iTunes Preferences --> Advanced location of the iTunes media folder to the MUSIC folder of the Walkman.     That way, I can edit all the metadata for the music on the Walkman using iTunes.  ...
