Speakers in TVs seem to almost be an engineering afterthought these days... they just have to slap them in there for people who aren't immediately going to use a soundbar, headphones, a home theater setup, or their 2 channel system to play sound. I kind of wish they would offer versions of TVs...

Sadly all my plasma TVs have bit the dust other than a 43" Panasonic S60 Plasma we used as a bedroom TV. Thankfully, they all died after the invent of the OLED. It was a nail biting time there for many TV enthusiasts between the end of Plasma and the mainstream production of OLEDs.

Are the replacement pads the new Audeze leather pads or the old ones?
