    Thanks for this review. I've bought a Pass Labs HPA-1 and returned the next day because of its buzz I could not get rid of. Thinking about testing this mighty V590 or V550, but it's still hard to put my hands on the gear (not yet available for testing). Do you plan to write a review for V550?

    Well, the beryllium driver is indeed fast and crisp but at the same time too loose bass is muddy. Don't get me wrong - I am a bass-head so I love its warmth, but once you notice how much the bass hides, you will appreciate more controlled bass.

    Atlas with its huge 10mm driver. With much more details in highs, though. Cascade has one big flow: the bass is so huge and overwhelming, it covers everything else. And even if I (as a typical bass-head) find it very pleasing, once you try headphones like Final Audio D8000 Pro, you won't return...

    Unfortunately the battery wears over time and especially on cold days it works much shorter time than 8-10 hours, but indeed, its quality is really, really good (except maybe the L/H gain switch which is loose).

    I have always been a bass-head (thus I still own Campfire Audio Cascade) but when I was able to test D8000 Pro, they were jaw-dropping for me. Surely there was less bass, but the quality of it was just enormous. I won't go back to Cascade. Finals are the end-game for me (for now). :) It's funny...

    I can fully agree with the author of this review. These cans are just fenomenal. I was able to test them thanks to my local dealer for almost a month, and I am a happy owner of the Pro Edition since yesterday. I get goose-flesh while listening of some songs. Sound-wise I haven't heard anything...
