I'm surprised no Holo Red vs DI-24HE myself. I own the di-20he, and holo red, (also audiobyte hydra-z). No brand loyalty for me, just looking for the best stuff. Hopefully somebody compares the two soon.

My last post was finding the latest system firmware for R26 and installing it. I tried searching this thread for newer releases, to no avail. Has there been a newer system firmware released for R26 since I installed R26_CT_m2.1 ? If there has, can somebody please link it to me :) I hate to...

Without having to ask I found the post with the newest system firmware :) I have mine upgrade now to R26_CT_m2.1, this is what it shows on the LCD screen: The only reason I'm keeping up to date on these system firmware to see if they ever add a toggle switch for IIS (i2s) for DSD vs PCM...

I figured this was the exact feature of RED that fixes the issue, but I didn't actually try flipping the switch to "ON" to test DSD (as I don't listen to DSD). I'll test that tonight when I get home.

@THUB That's a bummer man, I don't think anybody could give you an accurate answer here if your specific R26 is defective, or it's just a synergy issue. If you're in the return window I'd go that route.

@THUB What the dac are you comparing the R26 too? I've tried reviewing your posts, and the most I can find is you calling it a "sabre" dac. What dac do you own??

Yup, I knew 1v4 is the newest renderer because it's posted on their offical website, of which you just linked. But to be crystal clear, they do not post the system firmware at that link, or anywhere on their website, correct?

Has there been any system firmware release past 2022-11-15 ? I haven't been keeping up with this thread, just wanted to make sure I'm not missing one. I still don't know where at gustard.cn you can download their system firmware's... I was only able to obtain 2022-11-15 from a post here...
