NEW 2015 - HIFIMAN HE400S
Hello everyone, how hard are the HE 400S to drive? I currently use a JDS C5 amp to power my headphones (M-100), would I need to upgrade to something else to fully appreciate the HE 400S?- chuckle490

What are some good IEMs for under $100
Thank you guys for the recommendations! I was very interested in the titan at first, but because of its design I am afraid it will not isolate well enough. I had previously considered the RE-400, but as JoeDoe said every review I read states that the bass is well extended, but lacks impact. I...- chuckle490

What are some good IEMs for under $100
I had decided on purchasing the DN-1000s but being a college student I cannot really justify spending that much on IEMs right now. Are there any good alternatives for sub $100? I listen to primarily electronic music, but also listen to pretty much every other genre as well. I will listen...- chuckle490

Best IEMs for electronic music sub $150
From what I have read, isolation on the Titan 1 is not the best, and because I plan to use these on the go I would really like to have above average isolation. The only thing I do no like about the ATH-CKX9iS is the inline mic, is there a model that does not include the mic?- chuckle490

Best IEMs for electronic music sub $150
I'm looking for an iem I can wear around campus and on road trips.I listen to primarily electronic music and prefer a v shaped sound signature similar to that of my V-MODA M-100. I will drive them with either my jds labs c5 or straight out of my HTC one M8. thank you for any and all help!- chuckle490

Hifiman he-400i Impressions and Discussion
Mostly electronic music, but I also listen to hip hop, rock, alternative, and pretty much anything now that I think about it lol. How is the bass presence for electronic music?- chuckle490

Hifiman he-400i Impressions and Discussion
I am also a student, so I have a hard time justifying spending more than $400 on headphones, which is why I am having a hard time deciding if I should purchase the HE-400 or the HD650/400i. I have heard the HD-650 scales very well depending on the amp, where as the HE-400/400i does not scale as...- chuckle490

Hifiman he-400i Impressions and Discussion
Hello guys, i haven't been keeping up with this thread so please excuse me if this has already been answered, but are thee HE-400 still relevant after the release of the 400i? I have been wanting to upgrade to either an HE-400 or 400i or HD650 for a while, and can't seem to find a review that...- chuckle490

V-MODA M-100: Discussion/Feedback, Reviews, Pics, etc.
Before the XL pads were released what we used to do was stuff the inside of the pads outer area, underneath the actual padding, with rolled up gauze. It should still work with the XL pads.- chuckle490

V-MODA M-100: Discussion/Feedback, Reviews, Pics, etc.
Compared to grados, yes they do. I do find that when I am using my M-100 on the go I tend to turn the volume up a bit more and I activate the bass boost on whatever amp I am using. This is particularly the case on road trips, where road noise can drown out the low end.- chuckle490
