Black Sheep Braided B&W P5 Headphone Cable

Hi, Phil!  I'm ready to replace my now-janky P5 cable after it caught an accidental tug; I'm looking for a cable with iOS compatible mic and remote, and most crucially, a right-angle plug.  Can you handle something like that?   Thank you!  :)

    Anyone listen with Nokia Phones?

Actually, I've been using a Lumia 520 almost exclusively since my iPhone went on the blink.   My problem is the in-line remote and mic on essentially all of my headphones quit working, and I've become quite spoiled.   Anybody know of a good replacement cable for my Incase Sonics that uses...

What do I need to get a decent headphone surround sound setup with my motherboard?

Vlad, welcome to Head-Fi, sorry about your wallet. :D The Mixamp is used for combining VoIP traffic and game audio through a set of headphones - unnecessary for PC gaming or music. As I recall the G930 licenses the Dolby technology; when games implement their own positional audio, you can turn...

Headphones for Electro? ( dubstep, Dnb, hardstyle )

It's amazing how much better a USB sound card can sound than integrated audio. Welcome to Head-Fi, sorry about your wallet. :D

Looking for headphones/headset for gaming only! No budget.

My gaming headset of choice is the Logitech G35 and the wireless version, the G930. The G930 has recently stolen the show; it has a control pod on the left ear, with a digital volume control - it talks natively to OSX, sending the same keypresses as the keyboard's volume up/down, rewind...

    iPhone 5 Line out?

Been a few months.  Any progress on a line-level output for the iPhone 5?

    Noontec zoro mods

I'd say the first step would be replacing the cord with one with a mic, if this is to be an on-the-go pair of headphones.  Monster's should work nicely, however.

    $300 Gift Certificate

Yeah, I ordered the P5.  I'm desperately hoping I don't regret it; it's been years since I auditioned them, and the UE 6000 was awful good.    Fingers crossed.

    Incase Sonic

Quote:   One's a spare; you can also pick one to match your outfit this way.  ;)  I suggest looking for a company making Android-compatible headsets, and buying their replacement cable - there's no universal standard amongst Android makers; some use Apple's pinout, some swap mic and one...

In my experience, the UE 6000 is flat-out a basshead's can. They're awful comfortable, but I found them a little too bassy for my tastes, at least with the noise-cancelling and built-in amp turned on. If that's what you're looking for in a headphone, you might enjoy them. I found the V-Moda M-80...

Very much my experience with the Sonics. They hit way outside their price class, and look pretty sharp, too. I'm impressed by just how hot they could be - but they're not. Comfortable in Florida summers they are.

    Beats Executive... Another disappointment

Quote: They may be better served by the Ultimate Ears 6000, which if boomy, goes very deep.  I discovered a new bassline on a favorite song while I auditioned them.  :D

If I could do that Joe, I'd think about it.  But I've also been lusting for the P5 for the last 5 years or so.

Distressingly, I got to audition only the B&W P3, Harmon & Kardon, Beats, and Ultimate Ears.  Everything else had dead batteries, damaged extension cables, or was just broken.  Or just not there.     I like how deep the UE went, but sometimes it felt like my ears were getting sloppy seconds...

The *tax* on $300 is stretching my budget to the breaking point,</deadpan> so unless I can talk someone into floating me a few extra bucks, the Sennheisers are, sadly, going to have to wait. The Momentum looks nice - really nice; I dig the retro vibe - and durable, but they don't look terribly...
