I agree 100%. Too bad those were the first I tried! I'm currently using Tennmak (much better) and plan to check out the AZLAs (Thermoplastics) that just arrived yesterday, tonight. I'd say that anyone trying to get the most out of Semper should check off at minimum the following boxes as far as...- ChrisPBacon

QUICK NOTE Hi y'all. @stersa 's comment gave me an idea... What blew me away with the EDP were mids, vocals, guitar, etc. in terms of how forward they are. The EDP definitely doesn't have a 'reference' presentation. But I'm not a 'reference' guy. I am, however, a fan if IMR tuning. That...- ChrisPBacon

It's here! So, I listened for 10 minutes just to celebrate and then dropped it in to burrrrnnnn... So, my 10 minutes told me that The bass was kinda ridiculous; I've never had any inclination to pull back on low end before... I'll need to with Semper. The mids were more recessed than on the...- ChrisPBacon

Excellent. Those are money on the EDP, so I can't wait to hear the Semper renditions with the next gen drivers and electrets.- ChrisPBacon

Interesting (to me) thought... I am going to guess that burn-in, depending upon the IMR model, will be different depending upon the driver combination as an epiphenomenon of the physics of the different materials that comprise each component and the degree of overlap between them as far as the...- ChrisPBacon

Assuming identical diameters and threading, if you'd like to PM me an address, I can pop a replacement in the mail for you. I have 3 IMR "sets" and you are welcome to a silver Bass if you'd like.- ChrisPBacon
