Fostex new RP headphones - T50RPmk3, T40RPmk3 and T20RPmk3
I'm using 1540 pads and tried to take the treble and sibilance too. Either I found a possible way or my ears got used to the treble. I added a few plies of tissue behind the pads and added a strip of sticky felt in front of the drivers covering a line/3 holes based on MrSpeakers Doggy treats...- ChrisP3

Asgard 2 vs Magni 2 Uber
Thanks guys. I'm really considering that the audible difference between the two that many people mention is just a popular misconception. I find it hard to believe that they both can affect the tonality of the music with such low distortion levels as very good solid states shouldn't. I'll...- ChrisP3

Asgard 2 vs Magni 2 Uber
Hey fellas looking for a clean solid state amplifier to pair with my modi 2 + wyrd. Lurking around the other threads I've heard people say that the M2U kinda makes the A2 obsolete and that with a AB switch most wouldn't be able to notice any sonic differences. On the other hand hometheaterhifi...- ChrisP3

I'm thinking of selling my LD MK3 with 6N6P-IR power tubes and 6HM5 drivers to build a bottlehead crack. Anyone heard these two?- ChrisP3

DUNU DN-2000J -- More Than Evolution?
Will do thanks. That might solve my problems. I've had them for a few weeks listen in periods of around 6hrs per day. The sibilance has gone down from what I remember. Can't really A/B them but I think it's gone down. Anyways thanks for the suggestions/help.- ChrisP3

DUNU DN-2000J -- More Than Evolution?
Yea I tried it. It brought it down a bit but it's still pretty strong to me. But I'd still take the sibilance anyways just to listen to these little gems. Thanks- ChrisP3

DUNU DN-2000J -- More Than Evolution?
Does the amp affect sibilance? Just got a pair of DN 2000J and it's been a blast listening to. Only problem is that sibilance. I mean Frank Sinatra's ssssss rip through my eardrums.- ChrisP3

FiiO E17K or E18
I don't really use it with my iPhone really, thats what IEMs are for. I've heard it works with the USB camera adapter for iPhone but that's too much cabling for me. I do know it works with android. Tried it on an HTC M8 and it ran great.- ChrisP3

FiiO E17K or E18
Yea oh well. I've added a Sennheiser HD 600 to my collection. Thinking about getting a tube amp like the LD MKIII. But I've decided to keep the E17K and it's been great so far.- ChrisP3

Squaretrade For IEMs?
Just got my DUNU DN-2000J. Was wondering if it was worth it to get a Squaretrade extended warranty seeing that DUNU will only cover it for 1 year. What do you guys do for your expensive IEMs?- ChrisP3

FiiO E17K or E18
I'm using an iPhone 6, Macbook Pro, and PC as my source with the A900x and DN-2000J as my headphones/IEMs. Any reason to choose the E18 over E17K and vice-versa? Thanks.- ChrisP3

DUNU DN-2000J Noise/Static Help
So through research I found that it is the low impedance of the IEMs that's causing the hiss due to it's sensitivity. I guess my new question is if there's a way to get rid of the hiss. AMP, adapter, etc.- ChrisP3

DUNU DN-2000J Noise/Static Help
Just bought the DN-2000J to test it out. Sound quality is great but it seems to be picking up noise wherever I plug them in. I tried my iPhone, macbook, FiiO E17k. Is it because of it's low impedance of 8 ohms? Sorry if it's a stupid question but thanks.- ChrisP3
