    I don’t know if I said it before but I was using the Sennheiser hd580 on medium gain at max volume, headphones are 300 ohms power hungry, I’m sure that if I try iems at 40% volume I won’t hear it, same with headphones.     Couldn’t be bothered, I don’t think it’s faulty, it’s sold anyway. If you still have the device can you try that song and check it out yourself? I think that’s the best way to check if it’s only the unit I have or all of them.

    Yeah, compared to the fiio q3 I use it at max volume on medium gain and max volume on the fiio on high gain (fiio only has low and high gain) and the volume is about the same but if I want that extra volume I go high gain on the hidizs but only for a couple of songs.     Topping NX7 Portable Headphone Amplifier

    The G5 is way too pricey, I might pull the trigger with the nx7, I don’t actually use the dac but just the amp, I’m more than satisfied with my iPhone 11 Pro built in dac. This is half the price of a g5 so yeah might just go for it. Hope you guys will be doing a review soon
