Gustard DAC-X30
IIS-G is probably just the default pin configuration where G stands for "Gustard." The U18 DDC, for example, has a button that can toggle through the different pin configs and "Gustard" is the default one.- CFGamescape

Thanks for the replies, @krude and @GoldenSound. I’m thinking of adding a Lyr+ in addition to my Burson.- CFGamescape

Ferrum WANDLA - Impressions Thread
Sorry if this has been asnwered before. Wondering if I could have two amps connected to the Wandla at the same time, one via XLR and one via single-ended outputs. There is no output switch in the UI.- CFGamescape

New Beyerdynamic T5p 2nd generation
I can let you know next week when I receive my pair of T5p 2. I have a Fog City Audio cable made specifically for the Meze headphones with deep input recesses (e.g., Meze 109 Pro) that I plan to try it on.- CFGamescape

GUSTARD DAC-R26 Balanced Decoder R2R+1Bit Dual Native Decoding Music Bridge
This is a totally fair take. Diminishing returns is definitely a thing but I, having “invested” in the Wandla GSE, want to give it sometime and more tinkering. Also, someone buy my R26! :D- CFGamescape

Matrix Element S - finally a dedicated streamer from Matrix!
Thank you, super helpful! It seems that the Matrix Element S still checks a lot of boxes for me that the others don't. Basically, I need a device that can switch input sources from my PC to ethernet/wifi and vice versa and output via I2S.- CFGamescape

Matrix Element S - finally a dedicated streamer from Matrix!
BTW, is this the only device that's a standalone streamer (i.e., no DAC/amp) that can switch the input via UI? I'm new to streamers and understand there are some that are many levels above this price point.- CFGamescape

GUSTARD DAC-R26 Balanced Decoder R2R+1Bit Dual Native Decoding Music Bridge
I haven’t tried the Wandla without the U18 and OCK-2, but the main purpose of having the U18 is to take advantage of I2S. I have posted in the past that the combination of those devices and cables have made a notable difference. I also am also taking into consideration that it could be a placebo...- CFGamescape

GUSTARD DAC-R26 Balanced Decoder R2R+1Bit Dual Native Decoding Music Bridge
Nah, I need to sell it. Wandla is better. R26 does a hell of a job competing with it, though!- CFGamescape

Ferrum WANDLA GoldenSound Edition - Pre-Orders are Live!
I think your headphones are more forgiving with what’s in the chain, so the difference is probably not that big. With the Sus, I’m definitely hearing more micro details in certain tracks, than with the R26. At the moment, I have all GSE filters turned on. I want to burn the sound into my brain...- CFGamescape
