Hi, I am just about to pull the trigger and buy a set of HD600's. I'd like to ask everyone's input first. Is there something else that I should consider given my tastes and setup? I'm shooting for $300. $350 max. My setup includes a Little Dot MKII amp fed by a Xonar Essence STX sound card...

I just bought a LD MkII. A couple questions... How do the RCA output jacks work? Are they active and driven by the preamp tubes with a unity gain output? I read through the guide after buying it and it mentions that you get no volume control when accidentally connecting to the "out" RCA...

LOL! WOW, I've had a Fisher X-101-B that I haven't touched in 15 years. I never even thought about it as a headphone amp. Thanks for the idea! I've also got a Yamaha C-85 Preamp that I need to fix up and try out. A great idea form a fellow cheesehead. Ben
