Cavalli Audio's Liquid Carbon 2.0 - Owners Impressions
I thought it was time for a new update. My Cavalli LC2 has never been turned off since Nov 2016, and sounds great. Same with my Bifrost. JRiver/Schiit Multi-Bit Bifrost/Cavalli LC 2 XLR Output/Focal Elear Headphones. I'm still loving it- bronzboy

I had a similar breakdown and repair just after I got my LC2. Repaired and returned in about 10 days and it has worked flawlessly ever since. I listen to it a lot in my office where I have a Bifrost multibit feeding the LC into my Focal Elear. The Cavalli house sound is something I really love.- bronzboy

I might be exaggerating a bit. Let's change that to nineteen inches (48.26 cm)- bronzboy

Thanks, I feel better already. And when I get there, I'll be swearing those Elears not only work, but are waterproof down to three meters.- bronzboy

Have Elears for eight months, and no problems. Doing a bath remodel - The first tub sent to me was the wrong tub; tried a different seller and manufacturer, and the tub shipped to me had a large crack; the second tub, with a bottom front corner clipped off about two inches, was sent back today...- bronzboy

Cavalli Audio's Liquid Carbon Owners Impressions
I had my volume pot repaired under warranty, but my LC2's one year warranty is now expired, so I'm satisfied that Alex Cavalli recommended a shop to repair it in the future if needed. My list of purchases of audio equipment through the years have mostly lived far beyond any warranties, but...- bronzboy

I purchased my Elears in February and have had no problems. I have to smile every time I use them. In fact, right now I'm listening to Sonny Landreth - Recorded Live in Lafayette, and with a big smile on my face, I have to say I can't get over how musical they are. The Elears swing. I have...- bronzboy

For what it's worth, I had problems with a Schiit Multibit Bifrost. It was causing strange balance problems. Schiit send me a new DAC as I was sending them the bad one. Great customer service.- bronzboy

I had my LC 2.0 repaired twice within a month or so of the original delivery for reasons similar to yours. It's been great ever since, and I use it daily. I agree with you about upper end gear shouldn't fail twice. Cavalli is not the only one. Last year a friend of my end bought a high end...- bronzboy

I've been following this discussion about the LCX and the impact on the value of the LC1 & LC2. Interesting, for sure, but I'm going to keep my LC2. Paired with Elear HP's I have absolutely no complaints. I agree with others about the LC's ability to "lock in" and the amp is somewhat warm...- bronzboy

I have to say you nailed it. For full disclosure: I've owned an Elear since January, running them through a Schiit Bifrost Multibit/Cavalli Liquid Carbon, and it all sounds good to me. No complaints.- bronzboy

I'm using a Bifrost Multi-bit and I'm wondering if it's worth upgrading to the Gungnir. When I first got my Elear I was using an Asgard 2, which sounded great, and then I switched to a Liguid Carbon (balanced), and I'm in heaven. Now, I'm thinking about that Gungnir. What do you think about...- bronzboy

Well said. The Elear is a great headphone, and for me, at least for the foreseeable future, end of game. I would like to say that the dip in the 4k range you mentioned is definitely not an unpleasant part of the experience.- bronzboy

The weight is a non-issue for me; however, this is an issue for some. The Elear, for me, is very comfortable. Do you have access to an audio store where you could try them on? I did, so it was easy for me to actually try them, which obviously led to me buying them.- bronzboy
