Earbuds Round-Up
Received my lbbs recently, have tried stuffs like chaconne, smabats, blurs, but gotta say the lbbs is incredibly well-rounded. Though eq is certainly not needed, they respond well to eq. Most comfy shell i have encountered thus far + able to wear these both downwards and iem-style. Last but...- BrianLHR

Beyerdynamic Xelento!
Hey! Just got my own xelentoes recently, I found RHA single flange tips to be a perfect match (I tried tips from most aftermarket brands). It reduces the bass very significantly, sounds a touch mid forward with this tip. I dont know why anyone might do this but i was just fiddling with stuff i...- BrianLHR

High end (IEM) cable thread: impressions, pics, comparisons and reviews.
Hansound Zentoo Short Review Han Sound Audio's revision of their zen did not change much looks wise, soft and supple cable albeit slightly bulky connectors (may be a nuisance/extra durability however you view it). Nice coppery shine to it. This cable is a demo unit from Music Sanctuary. Sound...- BrianLHR

SONY NW-WM1Z / WM1A
sorry if someone asked before in this massive thread but anyone tried tweaking 1z firmware to fit on 1a? since firmware changes sound 1a should be able to sound like 1z if the firmware is tweaked? i recognize hardware still different so wont be exact but it should close the gap am i right- BrianLHR

hey guys would like to ask for recommendations. i prefer natural tonality (natural=/=neutral to avoid confusion) with big soundstages. im using oriolus mk2 mainly, and shortlisted a few options: dx150,dx200,zx300,m3s. i have tried the latter two and inclined towards zx300 currently. im coming...- BrianLHR

Oriolus Hybrid IEM
ive had opportunities to try it04. i feel its still on the warmer bassier side of things and packs a good punch. definitely good in terms of sq but signature wise might not fit what youre looking for. andromeda is pretty close to flc8s on gold grey red, with slightly more bass (especially...- BrianLHR

Oriolus Hybrid IEM
was busy previously oops. cable wise i think most people prefer pw for their body in lows but i rather silver material at times i guess. so far the cables i tried just give differrnt flavour to oriolus, it doesnt really go too wrong. as usual most silver cables result in a brighter presentation...- BrianLHR

Oriolus Hybrid IEM
not sure if u believe cables but i find oriolus responds well to cable changing so that might solve the bass problem, not too sure bout treble peaking though also have u tried andromeda? it seems like something along those lines you described as of the iems i have expereinced- BrianLHR
