Sony WF-1000XM4 Impressions Thread
I've managed to avoid head-fi for some time, and my wallet has been thankful. Recently picked these up as I was looking for a wireless solution. My current setup has been the AKG N40's paired with a FIIO BTR-5 running in balanced output, so that is my primary point of reference. I also have...- Brewmaster

K-702 vs. HD-800 Blind Test...on my girlfriend
I learned that a big smiley U is great sound from renting lots of cars. Every time I rent a car the bass and sometimes the treble settings are maxed out resulting. I guess that must be good sound since most people like music equalized that way.- Brewmaster

HD800 vs K701 - a bass issue

Does the AKG K701/2 do anything better than HD800?
First I'll go on record as saying I love the 701's. They are a bargain and I can't for the life of me understand where all the 701/2 haters are coming from. That being said, the 800's are simply a better headphone. As others have said I think it's mostly noticeable in the lower...- Brewmaster

Try it and see if you like it. I'm using the HD800's with a DV336 and it sounds sweet.- Brewmaster

Why does the HD800 cause such polarizing opinions....

I'm really starting to dislike Zune support

I'm really starting to dislike Zune support
First I would like to apologize to Microsoft. Shortly after posting this message most of the function keys on my MS keyboard stopped working. A reboot fixed things, but the message was received loud and clear. I recommend everybody buy a Zune, or two Zunes! It was 2 Zune 16's, the last one...- Brewmaster

I'm really starting to dislike Zune support
Just a venting thread as I'm getting very frustrated with MS and their Zune support. First Zune - Flaky back-light (probably a bad soldering job) so I sent it back before it was out of warranty. Second Zune - Seemed to partially crash all the time. Press pause and the music would continue...- Brewmaster

Nice, The ASIO4ALL solution seems to work. That will open up some options. Confirmed bitperfect over SPDIF with MediaMonkey.- Brewmaster
