Affordable earbud under $50
Oh sorry, I misunderstood. Unfortunately I have little experience with earbuds and can't make any suggestions for those.- Bluntfipple

Affordable earbud under $50
I would suggest the Wicked Audio Drive 900cc or 1000cc earphones. They're both under $50 and are durable, comfortable, and sound great.- Bluntfipple

Skullcandy vs Wicked Audio
After comparing several of their products I gotta say that Wicked Audio definitely has higher sound quality overall than Skullcandy. Skullcandy is more muffled sounding with boomy bass while Wicked Audio has tighter, punchier bass with clearer mids and highs. Wicked Audio is still definitely...- Bluntfipple

Skullcandy is funny.
Yeah, looks like they gave up on them before release. They probably realized that it likely wouldn't sell well.- Bluntfipple

Skullcandy is funny.
http://isound.com/hp-600-headphones/ These have SIX drivers in them but are smaller than the skullcandy and pioneer ones. These have two 40mm drivers and four 15mm drivers in them and specifically target audiophiles (as they clearly state, obviously).- Bluntfipple

Sennheiser HD 202 VS skullcandy Hesh 2
I personally think the HD 202s are pretty good and probably the best choice of the two.- Bluntfipple

Noise-Cancelling Headphones Drawback(?)
Apparently HeadRush headphones (which are a store brand of The Source like Nexxtech) are made by Skullcandy. The Source contracted Skullcandy (or at least the parent company of Skullcandy) to make their headphones. Unfortunately I cannot confirm that as it was just told to me by an employee...- Bluntfipple

Should I buy Audio Technica ath m20x or m40x?
I'd go with the M20x if you're mainly looking for bass. The M40x is tuned flat so you probably won't like it.- Bluntfipple

Removable Cables A Must?
Huh, interesting stuff to know. Thanks! -
Removable Cables A Must?
Are removable cables a must have for you? (For me, any headphone over $100 should have a detachable cable.) Do you find proprietary cables to be pretty universally unnecessary? (They seem to be primarily a way for the companies to make extra money than anything.)- Bluntfipple

Noise-Cancelling Headphones Drawback(?)
Okay, so it looks like it might simply be poor engineering then. I don't think it's a faulty unit though I could be wrong. That seems about right. Kinda forces me to use the NC in order to get the best sound. :/- Bluntfipple
