I own both ahb2 and hpa4 but personally don’t see needing to try the ahb2 as the hpa4 has plenty of headroom even for those on a mission to destroy your hearing. They sound very full up to well over 100dB if that’s your thing. It’s got grunt power and never sounds thin like many amps commonly...

the HPA4 has more than enough power to drive the susvara. I own both HPA4 and AHB2 and would never consider using the AHB2 with the susvara's. I'm quite happy with the performance and few amps have the grunt for the susvara's. however HPA4 will deliver.

Fwiw, I am using speakon cables with the AHB2 (4pole connector using 2) and my Zu Audio Soul Supreme speakers (8pole connector using 6). I have read a few articles saying the noise floor is a little lower with the speakon connection vs spades or banana. But not sure it’s really worth all the...

Good to know. They included some as they didn’t know how the amp would react. I definitely would prefer not to use them. What power output would be avail @16ohms ? I think there is mention of it when running in mono, but I could be mistaken. These speakers are kinda odd.
