NEW: Audio-Technica ATH-ESW11LTD
I'm not sure if I want these or the ED8... but then the question is do I really need these at all? Will be interesting to see the pricing of the ED8 with the newer Romeo and Juliet versions around. Obvious answer is I don't seeing as I have the ESW9 and Momentum :(- billbro

NEW: Audio-Technica ATH-ESW11LTD
Quote: Really? Doesn't seem to have moved much to me? It is 634 AUD, was 614 AUD a few days ago I think. However, it still beats the Aussie RRP of $899... waiting to see what some of the other stores are going to offer it for. Also, hoping you guys will throw out a few more...- billbro

O2 or Asgard for ATH-3000ANV and HD650
hamilcarbarca, Thanks mate, I'll need an adapter in the interim for the W3000 since my HD650 won't arrive until the 31st. I'm buying the O2 and odac as separate units from JDS, as I want the option of batteries so I've picked up the FiiO L2 interconnect. Also purchased the L9 to run audio...- billbro

O2 or Asgard for ATH-3000ANV and HD650
Did a lot more reading last night, so will be picking up the O2 and odac, going to need some 6.3 to 3.5 adapters as well - though the HD650 should come with one. What cables do I need to hook up the input to the odac? Is the supplied USB to mini cable enough or am I going to need a USB to 3.5mm?- billbro

O2 or Asgard for ATH-3000ANV and HD650
So I just went ballistic the last few days and picked up: ATH-3000ANV Senn Momentum Senn HD650 I had previously just been running off portable cans/IEMs, so I'm now in desperate need of an amp. Some really helpful headfi'ers already gave me suggestions on a few all-in-one's, but...- billbro

Purchasing ATH-3000ANV
Any other input guys? E.g. Burson HA-160D? Otherwise I think the Xonar One it is - the less time I spend on here the better. I've actually just ordered the Senn HD 650 in the interim, as they were available for a steal... so since coming back on here to browse I will now have...- billbro

Purchasing ATH-3000ANV
Quote: Thanks for the input, it's much appreciated. I'm relatively smitten about the Xonar One - seems to tick the right boxes for me. However, just slowly going through the reviews at the moment.- billbro

Purchasing ATH-3000ANV
Quote: Might sound like a silly reason, but an internal card has less longevity from my perspective. I'm considering working overseas in the near future, I could see myself taking an external solution depending on its size. However, I probably wouldn't be removing a sound card...- billbro

Purchasing ATH-3000ANV
A USB based solution would be preferred, internal hardware/sound card isn't really my preference. Slowly reading through head-fi to see what options are out there.- billbro

Purchasing ATH-3000ANV
The 3000ANV won't be for portable use, that's what the ESW11 will be for. However, I'm pretty much using either my desktop PC or my iPhone 5 for music at the moment.- billbro

Purchasing ATH-3000ANV
Hey obobskivich, Apologies, I was referring to whether there were any other headphones I should be considering. However, I've read through a number of reviews already and I kind of landed on the 3000ANV on the basis that the sound I presume is similar to the ESW9 on a larger scale. ...- billbro

Purchasing ATH-3000ANV
Hi head-fiers, I am just about to pick up a pair of new Audio Technica ATH-3000ANV, I know there is an appreciation thread, but I thought I would throw this out there. So, as you are all probably aware head-fi is bad for the wallet - after coming back to do some light browsing I...- billbro

NEW: Audio-Technica ATH-ESW11LTD
Quote: Indeed I should, I'm not interested in purchasing the W3000ANV and the ESW11LTD. Interesting pic over here though (different coloured ESW11LTD), maybe those of you in SG can shed some light? I wish I picked it up during the pre-order in SG, since I have a few...- billbro

NEW: Audio-Technica ATH-ESW11LTD
What is the cheapest way to pick these up at the moment? Picking them up from Amazon then using Tenso? PriceJapan seems to have them shipped to Australia for about $620, which is a hefty mark up as the ES10 is $399 here. I knew I shouldn't have been browsing head-fi!- billbro
