On mine it does that with any 24-96 flac and 24-192 file, but it's quite random and can run some minutes without any shutter

I've notice that if it change from high gain to low gain on my fiio x5, the spike seems to be less noticiable... that why i thought that amp could be responsible but it s always a matter of association i guess ()   on another subject im on a shopping spree and looking around for a portable...

quick question ... right now im using he-400i with fiio x5 ... on low gain im listening the volume most of the time at 90/120 ... i would like to know if adding an amp will change the sound signature cause i read sometimes that a better amp will improve bass extension and overall sound quality...

Cant tell versus he-400 but vs Q701 its more balanced and i can listen louder without getting harsh sound from Adele high notes ...and with a very good precision in the voice which is so pleasing to hear ..    Edit : i dont wanna say q701 is harsh but to get good lower mid and bass need a bit...

Just received it.. Really amazing .. Playing various genre with fiio x5 and woo factor happen quite soon ... Just notice something with pop song mostly.. snare are a bit proheminent and take my attention over vocals .. just think its a bit too much Dont know if i need to blame the headphone...
