MS-1.....Great buy
So I decided to forego the sr 60's and just get the ms-1's and, MAN, it was totally worth it. I'm am completely satisfied w/ these cans. For 100 bux, I'd say they are more than worth it, and I've had them for 10 minutes. Next question, what songs u guys think sound best w/ new headphones...- beatboxq

$2000 Headphones??!?!? Uhh.....WHAT?!?!?
Alright guys, don't get me wrong, I have a great admiration for music and get a overwhelming sense of satisfaction from a great sounding speaker/headphone. I guess I just didn't realize that headphones went as far as they do. As for the car thing...Lexus's...You've got to be kidding. These...- beatboxq

$2000 Headphones??!?!? Uhh.....WHAT?!?!?
Alright, so people really like these things, and the fact that there are more expensive cans is, ummm, amazing. I mean, $2000 is 10% of a large number of the American population's yearly income. Granted, the 20k teir are more than likely not audio aficionados, but it's still 10% of many...- beatboxq

$2000 Headphones??!?!? Uhh.....WHAT?!?!?
So I keep stumbling on these Audio Technica cans that are roughly $2000 dollars, and I keep saying to myself "Are these ppl f'n serious??!?!?!?!" I mean, 700 bux is already a lot to pay for headphones, and I can see myself doing it if I could afford it, but $2000...you've got to be kidding me...- beatboxq

SR-125: General Opinion
alright then that pretty much clears it up. I've heard the high end on the ms-1's is much more neutral. Thanks for the help.- beatboxq

SR-125: General Opinion
What is your guys' general thoughts on the Grado SR-125's?? Are they the best "lower end" Grado's available? (assuming the "high end" starts w/ the 225's, which seem to be quite a step up) Also, how would you compare them to the MS-1's? You can basically get a used pair for the same price as new...- beatboxq

Grado 60/80/125's - Best bang for buck?
Okay, so I'm hung up again, lol. This is the hardest decision I've had to make in awhile. It's still between the ms-1's and the sr-60's. I mean, aren't the ms-1's basically the sr-80's w/ a few slight changes? And supposedly, for-the-better changes?? The more I look around, the more I...- beatboxq

Grado 60/80/125's - Best bang for buck?
I could see myself totally getting caught up in this and getting a bad case of upgraditis. I mean, as impressed w/ the 60's as I was, and knowing that there is still better sound to be heard, I'm pretty sure I'd eventually want to upgrade. At least for home use, maybe keeping the 60's as...- beatboxq

Grado 60/80/125's - Best bang for buck?
Okay, So it's definitely down to the sr-60's vs. the Ms-1's In anyone's opinion, is it worth the extra 30 bux for the sound of the ms-1's? Apparently they are not as "bright" regarding high end, but that wouldn't seem to be a problem for me, seeing as I don't need my ears to bleed anyway...- beatboxq

Grado 60/80/125's - Best bang for buck?
So it seems that the MS-1's will definitely need an amp, which I'm not really wanting to use. For portability, it looks like the 60's are everyone's recommendation. Also, can you mod the 60's w/ the yellow senn pads or is that only for the 80's and up? Thanks.- beatboxq

Grado 60/80/125's - Best bang for buck?
Being that I have only heard the Grado 60's, how would you compare the ms-1's overall to the sound and comfort of the 60's?? I'm pretty much open to anything here, but I don't wanna get far from the sound of the grado's. Thanks- beatboxq

Grado 60/80/125's - Best bang for buck?
I"m lookin to get me a pair of Grado's w/out breaking the bank and have done quite a bit of looking around on here to see which is the best value dollar for dollar. I've only heard the sr 60's and I must say I was thoroughly impressed. My question is, is it worth spending the extra 100 or so...- beatboxq
