Probably 1 bit processing for DSDs, and a R2R mode that further lowers noise etc and improves sound quality. The FPGA processor should allow for that to happen. Just based on the time that this is taking, it must be a very substantial update.

Talked to them a month ago, they said the Hybrid mode is a few months out. They are actively working on it. If Hybrid volume is anything to go by, this Ladder mode should be a nice upgrade from the current R2R mode. At least I hope that's the case.
