Agreed, the UI seems very laggy. No way id buy this for 3K+ in this current state.

Ive owned    i have owned both. The Fitear is more lush and rounded, the SEM9 is faster and more dynamic. I was more "wowed" by the SEM9 but that is very subjective.   I would say the SEM9 is less forgiving and is less colored than the ToGo.

question: what happens when you change cables and dont get the bass adjustment, what setting is it at ?

As the OG post says, its up to us to call them out on their false marketing so the industry stops lying so blatantly.   A great post btw in which i learned a lot and will certainly not buy CIEMs without testing the Universals first. Were talking +1K products here (U12).

Oh absolutely, do try. Just wanted to temper expectations a bit with my own experience :)   And there was way too much bass when i used them so i dont think turning up the bass more would solve it ;)

Just to give another opinion on these, i tried the TX-500 on my Layla universals, and i found the result terrible: muffled, bloated and all around crappy sound....

Does it support DSD ? It lists it as a format on their product page but says also 24/192 max. Does it downsample ?   Also what version of Android and can you install 3rd party ?
