are you use directory to play some music? you better use by album when play or maybe you need to clean/ delete folder .audio on sdcard or dx50 internal memory. then reisntall firmware and reset factory it.

why not go for dx80?? dx50 and dx90 will be discontinued if not wrong

first you need download and install lastest dx50 dac driver             http://www.ibasso.com/download.php   turn on your dx50 and then change usb setting from storage into DAC after that connect your dx50 to pc using usb cable

for amp better alo natinal at minimum

it doesnt give effect to your dx50 but it can effect your cans if your cans super sensitive   it musically if you mod HO and LO capasitor, dual opamp, and 2 single opamp. and after mod dont use stock firmware because the sound will bad

well if you already mod your dx50 especially on opamp, bass sector will gone hiding if you still using stock firmware with rockbox we can setting volume on the bass so it can appear again.

well if you use old rockbox you need to do that but when use new one you dont need to do that

report from me don't dare to mod the dual op-amp or the bass will be very small but the sacrifice was the background became very clear and more improvement on instrument especially on mid and high sector

nope you was right more spacious especially on high instrument   but there a lack on this firmware separation between bass and micro detail was not good 1.8.0 was to centered if not wrong.   already try reset factory?? dont forget to delete folder .audio on microsd

  there no problem, i already try it but i use External HDD 3.5inch (with adaptor ones)
