I pair my Clears with the Benchmark DAC3 HGC and am very happy with the results.

Yes that cable normally doesn’t come with the headphones, you got even more of a bargain.

I have had the Beyer T1.2 for 6+ months and drive them either with a Benchmark DAC3 HGC or Oppo HA-1. I also have Senn HD600, HD650, HD700, HD800s (returned), B&W P3, P5, P7w, P9, Oppo PM1, PM3, Shure SRH1840. My sources are TIDAL streaming, Roon, Audrivana Plus 2, Yamaha CD-S1000 CD/SACD...

No experience with the Questyle but I have owned a HA-1 almost from when it was first released. I use it with mainly with HD700 and Oppo PM-1 (tried the HD800s but the higher frequencies did not work for me, it was the headphone because I also have a Benchmark DAC3 HGC and got the same results)...

In my application I forgot to mention that my B&W P7 is the wireless bluetooth model.

I use the Benchmark DAC3 HGC and Oppo HA-1 the Beyers sound great through either DAC/amp.

I recently purchased the T1 v2 in my continuing search for a good headphone that costs less than a new car. I had tried the Sennheiser HD-800s earlier this year and found them to be uncomfortable with some treble portions on some music. I find that the Beyerdynamic doesn't have that problem...

I hesitate to give detailed comparisons because hearing is so subjective, no two people hear alike. Any listening device is the result of compromises to please a larger number of listeners. I am seventy-five and still have good hearing for my age but certainly not even close to what my hearing...

I can make a comparison between the B&W P9 and the Shure SRH1840. The Shure is a great headphone for the money. I also have Oppo PM-1, PM-3, Sennhesier HD-600, HD-650, B&W P-3, P-5. When I want to do serious listening whether, Jazz, Classical, Rock or Blues I always reach for the P-9. They...
