COS Engineering H1
COS ALGORITHM AND DSP COS’s proprietary algorithm with a linear-phase delay FIR can up-sample original data to 176.4K or 192K, and this massive computation is handled by a powerful 3648 MMAC/second DSP. BUFFER AND RE-CLOCKING H1 stores digital data in a one-second buffer before converting to...- AudioMan612

Sennheiser HD 700 Impressions Thread
I'm using a Woo Audio WA7 (1st generation) to power my HD 700's with the upgraded Electro-Harmonix gold-plated tubes and the solid-state power supply. One of these days I'll need to get the tube power supply as well as get my amp retrofitted to the newer version. That said, it's a very good...- AudioMan612

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
If you are in pro audio, you are surrounded by meters. They're not all too useful for Hi-Fi (though they are cool), but they are definitely essential in the pro audio world.- AudioMan612

☯️ Cavalli Audio presents The Source AV’s Summer Series 2016
I probably should've asked this when I was on the phone with Wayne, but I forgot. How is source material going to work? Should we bring a flash drive with what we want to listen to? Will there be any analog sources (vinyl or reel to reel tape) setup?- AudioMan612

Audeze LCD-X
Yeah, the bass of the LCD-X is pretty tough to match. It's not overpowering by any means (as in basshead headphones). It's just able to teach very low with very tight control, resulting in very articulate and heavy-hitting, yet accurate bass.- AudioMan612

Audeze LCD-X
Hmm I don't know. I have only spent a bit of time with the Elear, but it was very clearly designed to be a warm headphone. The LCD-X is designed to be pretty neutral. I don't want to say that one is better than the other, but I really don't think they were designed to do the same thing.- AudioMan612

Audioengine A5+ Review
That's great! I'm glad you're enjoying your speakers! -
Audioengine A5+ Review
Eh, he probably didn't have them setup properly. In the pictures, the speakers aren't on stands, and they are very close to his walls/windows, which is going to have a large effect since these are rear-ported. -
Audioengine A5+ Review
Awesome! Make sure to put them on some proper stands to get the most out of them. -
Sennheiser HD 700 Impressions Thread
I'm mainly using a Woo Audio WA7 (1st generation) for my HD 700s, and I think it's a good pairing. It's a little on the warm side, but not too much. I've got the upgrade Electro-Harmonix gold pin tubes for the amp, but haven't upgraded to the tube power supply yet. As a side note, I'm not...- AudioMan612

New Grace Design m920 DAC/amp with DSD decoding
The Grace remote is a beast. It's quite heavy for it's size and the buttons have a very nice feel to them.- AudioMan612
