Focal Elear or Mr Speakers Aeon Flow Open?
I'm looking at getting a headphone (preferably open backed) in the sub-1000 price range and so far the Elear and Aeon Flow are looking the most appealing to me. I have had the chance to hear the Elear, but not the Aeon so I was wondering if there's anyone here who has heard both who can say...- Atticustas

What are the best headphones for under £300?
Yeah, unfortunately it needs to be relatively portable and I'd rather not carry an amp around with me.- Atticustas

What are the best headphones for under £300?
Thanks for the suggestion! I'm adding them to my list of options which is growing rather large haha. I am willing to strech my budget a bit but I'm wary of getting pushed further and further up in price. I would probably pay for the Shures if the sound is worth it. Choosing expensive headphones...- Atticustas

What are the best headphones for under £300?
I'm looking for over-ear headphones that have high quality balanced sound and are also portable. I have the B&H H6 (gen 1) headphones but although they are wonderfully detailed with incredible soundstage I find them just a little lacking in warmth. I recently tried out the Sennheiser Momentums...- Atticustas

Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H6 Discussion Thread
I was really just wondering if plugging the headphones into a CD would be same as using a headphone amp with them since the CD player obviously has an amp in it. I was just expecting better sound and maybe more bass because people keep saying that the H6, especially v1, need an amp to hear their...- Atticustas

The CD player is the Denon RCD-M37DAB. It's relatively old now but it was a great CD player at the time and still is. I don't have any headphone amps at the moment and wouldn't know which one to get if I was to get one. I compared listening to both the headphone from my phone and from the CD...- Atticustas

Does anyone know if listening to a CD player with these headphones would be the equivalent of using an amp with them? I'm new to the high end audio game. I have the 1st gen cause I didn't realise there was a second gen when I bought them so I might take them back and get the second gen if I like...- Atticustas

The h6 doesn't fold. Do you mean you can lay it with the ear cups flat?- Atticustas
