Thanks for the excellent review Andy. Detailed, accurate and very easy to read. I got the 71 dongle to partner the Timeless and what a match they make. Effortless delivery and really makes the Timeles sound its best. I tried it with my other iem and was as pleasantly surprised. It's truly a good...- Aswald

Nice, detailed review. May I know if the housing is made of metal or plastic? Especially the shiny parts. Thanks.- Aswald

Venture Electronics Bonus IE - Discussions and Impressions Thread
KZ ZS3 has a warmer tone. Bass is emphasized closer to mid bass. Mids are slightly more forward. Highs are articulate but not as smooth as BIE. BIE has a flatter tuning. Bass sound more extended and emphasis is towards the lower spectrum of bass. Mids are not as forward as ZS3 but neutral...- Aswald

Odyssey HD (featuring VE's new iOS adapter) - Impressions and Discussion Thread
Just got my hands on these. BIE and Odyssey HD. I've been listening to them for a couple of weeks. Compared them to some other equipment I have. These are one of the BEST iems I've ever heard. The combi between BIE and Odyssey HD is superb. Let's start with the stock firmware. I plugged into...- Aswald

SONY NW-ZX100
Have you tried contacting your local SONY Service Center for their help. If anyone can they would be the one. There's probably a locking mechanism in place for regional copyright matters. Anyway, I would try them if I were you. So far, they've been very helpful with my issues.- Aswald

SONY NW-ZX100
For the ZX100, compatible headphones are very important. I found good match with the following headphones. For the cheap, Superlux HD668B, Philips SHP9500, Grados SR Series (up to SR125e) For the Mid Priced, 1More Triple Driver Headphones, Grados SR Series (SR325e), Philips Fidelio X2HR For the...- Aswald

SONY NW-ZX100
I would rate, 1. ZX1 (untouchable resolution and dynamics by the rest here) 2. Tie between ZX100 and Pono (depending on your preference) Pono has balanced outputs which will enable it to sound better than the ZX100 in that respect. Between the two, ZX100 is more balanced sounding and more...- Aswald

SONY NW-ZX100
The LG V30 is a unique smartphone. Quite a few have moved on to the V30 as their daily mobile and dap needs. The V30 is a very capable device as a dap. With very good sound. What I did was find a more compatible earphones/iem to go with the ZX100 in order to stay in the game. One of the best...- Aswald

SONY NW-ZX100
You are spot on about the WM1Z. Although for most people the WM1A would be plenty good already. If you can cough it up, the WM1A is the real "upgrade" to the ZX100. However, the sound is one of more relaxed, natural and realistic. You get the sense of listening to real instruments rather than...- Aswald

No waaayyy..........that's the most absurd thing I've read/heard so far. Unless my ZX300 is defective, there is a day and night difference to the WM1A. Can you post me the link where Sony engineers said and confirmed that? Not a challenge but I want to read it for myself.- Aswald
