Reply to review by 'Apogee777' on item 'Sennheiser HD 380 PRO Headphones'
Thanks for your review as imo i agree: I have PC350, HD215 and HD380 pro and i find the HD215 the best out of all these closed type Sennheisers. - the bass is well defined on the PC350 and Deep on the HD380 pro's, however the deep bass cut off on the HD215's is perfect. it makes the all mids...- Apogee777

REVIEW: The Sennheiser HD 215 (the HD 205's bigger brother)
My X-fi died and i picked up a used Asus Xonar D1. - Xonar D1 put warmth into the headphone - unbelievable! it's like revisiting my old Denon solid state amp highly recommended, the 215's are a totally different HF with the xonar d1. However, a general audigy or X-fi is more audiophile and...- Apogee777

Wiring dual sub-woofer amp to single sub-woofer speaker
sorry if this is a bit off topic but this for when i unplug my headphones for instant external audio. i have an old JVC EX90 mini amp as my headphone amp connected to my HD 215's which is supplied audio from a creative X-FI. - i have just acquired a 3 Ohm single sub-woofer. - connected...- Apogee777

REVIEW: The Sennheiser HD 215 (the HD 205's bigger brother)
listening to anything with onboard sound on any decent headphone is a HI-FI sin, very bad sin. repent and grab a sound card.. the difference in sound quality is nothing short of massive. i use an old x-fi card and they are cheap s/h and reliable, even an audigy of any type is excellent...- Apogee777

REVIEW: The Sennheiser HD 215 (the HD 205's bigger brother)
i haven't owned either but per specs the ATH has slightly better high end but slightly less bass frequency (12hz (hd215) vs 15hz (athm40x) opposite with the sony, hd 215 has higher treble (22k vs sony's 20k) but the sony has deeper bass freq @ 10hz vs hs 215's 12hz of course real world...- Apogee777

REVIEW: The Sennheiser HD 215 (the HD 205's bigger brother)
LOVE these headphones, i like dry sound and these are true DJ headphones. as agreed with one of the reviewers on the actual main senn site these are for true mixing at source. Paul Kalkbrenner created the full soundtrack to Berlin Calling on HD 215's. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0211946/...- Apogee777

Sennheiser HD 215 Review
koolas, you're going against the grain of many reviewers and even Paul Kalkbrenner who created the full soundtrack to Berlin Calling on HD 215's. they are not perfect and not full audiophile, just heavy built rugged DJ cans with an excellent range and also well proven over time. i only have...- Apogee777

Sennheiser HD 215 Review
in my country they are even higher in price due to shipping and low population. its taken a while to find something appropriate in price vs value, and of course to find something built well and not plasticy poor design is another mission as well :)- Apogee777

Sennheiser HD 215 Review
i think that the 215 and the 215-II are the same headphone re-marketed, one of the early posts here: quote "Sennheiser will be re-introducing these into the market shortly.." however we can only truly know if someone can front up who has owned both :) maybe someone can, that would be...- Apogee777
