Yeah, the sound definitely improved a bit with the FMC mod which I’m now using with my Holo Red. I also upgraded the fuse with the Gustard upgrade fuse but haven’t look at other mods yet. What would be the most easy/affordable tweak next?

For what it's worth, I recently got myself a WANDLA+HYPSOS combo, but after a couple of weeks of listening to music with it, I have decided to sell it and keep my R26. I bought the Ferrum combo after having read a lot of positive reviews that stated that it is the most musical sounding...

In my system, the punch is actually there but I'm missing the thump if that makes sense. Might just be that my brain is used to hearing that slower bass sound of the R26, but it still sounds more natural to me which is what I look most for in my music listening.

Yeah, I'll definitely give it more time, and I definitely want to try the spatial enhancement feature of the GSE! I would also be interested to know if the "Tube Mode" feature gives the Wandla a bit more weight to the sound. And yeah, it's definitely possible that the difference would be bigger...

I'm currently waiting for my Wandla+Hypsos combo, and I'm planning to pair them with my Trafomatic Head 2 amp. I'm pretty bad at reading the spec sheet so can you give any help as to how I should set the Wandla up with the Head 2 volume control/voltage adjustment wise?
