Violectric V222 and V202
The Pre-Gain should be set for a medium to medium high perceived volume (not deafening). Perfect as you did now, between 50 - 60% of the total rotation. I do the same with my V200 (now also for the Lehmann Linear).- Angel III

Lehmann Audio Linear
When you listen to this amplifier you immediately perceive a high quality sound image that has been studied very carefully for a long time (even years), not a product designed to be improved with subsequent versions or redesigned from scratch. It is enough to see that even the advanced models...- Angel III

The marker is discolored, it looks like a 0.6A fuse. The correct fuses to insert are T 0.5A at 120V. Lehmann linear in Europe uses fuses from T 0.25A to 240V.- Angel III

The Meze 99 have very dirty bass. If you equalize I recommend the Sony MDR-1AM2.- Angel III

Lehmann Audio Linear
Sorry, I corrected the post above in English. Yes, I knew about this update, but the sound signature of my old Linear is something amazing. With the V200 and the Linear I have two non-identical high-quality amplifiers.- Angel III

I too was worried about the capacitors, but this amplifier has only been used for a few hours a year. I removed the cover and saw if the capacitors visually showed any deformation or swelling. Then I did several audio tests with the V200 (as a verifier) and 16 ohm Sony closed headphones...- Angel III

I have attached the Pre-Gain settings diagram of the current Linear which is the same as the old model, like mine (they are identical).- Angel III

I like all the headphones I currently have and the next one might be the HD660s2. With the gain switches at 0dB I drive the Sony MDR-1AM2 and Austrian Audio HI-X65 well. For the Avantone Planar I have to set the Gain to 10dB and for the HD650 18dB. I would say that for the HiFiMAN Arya...- Angel III

I also bought my Lehmann Linear used (but it's like new). The person who had it before rarely used it with the HD800s.. he preferred listening from the speakers. Mine is the black cube version. The Loky will be a good match.- Angel III

The V100/V200/V220/Linear(II) are characterized in the neutral zone and are faithful to returning a natural timbre (as you would hear without headphones). In this (neutral) zone a good amplifier can be characterized as more or less neutral. A few years ago I tried a Sabaj amplifier with good...- Angel III

If one day you would like to have a nice amplifier with a neutral sound and a very good soundstage, you know that the Linear I have indicated can be an excellent alternative (similar quality to Violectric). I was right not to recommend the more expensive Lehmann ones, these have a neutral/warm...- Angel III
