X3 Cover Art (Cropped or Not) POLL!
+1 from me, the scaling is acceptable, but not ideal, would love to see it 'proper'.- Andymaxwell

Official X3 1st gen firmware thread--3.34beta: removed 5800 song limit, play through folders--Happy Chinese New Year!
Interesting. I am now thinking that rather than clipping it's actually over siblant. With the latest FW Fiio seem to have upped the fine detail it's upped the siblance which to my ears is a little painful. Has anyone come across this issue?- Andymaxwell

Anyone getting clipping using the LO with the new beta firmware. Just to clarify, I mean clipping 'out of the box'. I've not touched the EQ. Andrew- Andymaxwell

Uhhuh, yep, I preferred the 60 range too, like you say much slower now to change volume.- Andymaxwell

CMOY power supplies in UK. Maplin?
Tried out the adapter from CPC/Farnell (the one with the changable heads) and it works a treat! It really improves the sound quality over the battery power. It's more open and involving. Thanks everyone- Andymaxwell

CMOY power supplies in UK. Maplin?
Reply from JDSLabs about my email, just below... **** There is one here which seems to do the job (but would require an adapter) http://cpc.farnell.com/stontronics/s2171mn/ac-dc-linear-psu-12v-300ma-2-1mm/dp/PW02830 or this one which has tips to suit...- Andymaxwell

CMOY power supplies in UK. Maplin?
Hi Tangent, thanks so much. Yep I did read your article a few weeks back and very comprehensive I found it too. It's still a little confusing for me (not your fault, you described it very succinctly) but I think the main issue was not knowing where to look for the PSUs. Thank you so much to you...- Andymaxwell

CMOY power supplies in UK. Maplin?
Hey thanks Tangent. I've looked at the link you placed on the page and it seems that something like these linked here will do. Also here's a possible UK equivalent of JDS labs' DC plug adaptor seen on their website. If we think the Boss style PSU's listed in the link in the first paragraph...- Andymaxwell

CMOY power supplies in UK. Maplin?
Hi All, would both of these work with the CMOY amp? I read that the higher the voltage the more dynamic range the CMOY has. http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/maplin-6w-switched-mode-acdc-fixed-voltage-12v-power-supply-mg81c...- Andymaxwell

The Fiio X3 Thread.
I can definitely say that the LO quality is miles ahead of the HO quality. (Didn't notice as much of a difference with the Ibasso DX50 for those who are interested.- Andymaxwell
