Well for me, DAVE its a still master in terms of headpones game. its not an amp for Susvara, Abyss 1266 or K1000 but for most headphones doin good. He has exeptionally timbre, very orginal. Its never dry, alwyas dark, dense but have all possible details and speed. Hell of an amplfier.- Alucard1

I didnt hear the mojo but from what i hear on my won ears, if come to Chord gear, synergy is the key. They must play as one, as a combo. They dont need antyhing external. TT2 as a combo is great, DAVE also. Anni plays good with Qutest. Mojo propably its the same. DAVE plays 3X better when...- Alucard1

I dont see anything pathethic here. I think the same about Chords line. TT2 have different genetics than Qutest and DAVE, its sound different, relaxed, not so close to listener, with different perspective. Qutest dac and DAVE sounds kinda the same, on your face with three dimensional top end and...- Alucard1

I have Anni but heard DAVE onboard amplfier. I agree with you, its a state of art amplfier with superb sound signature. And its not underpowered. Maybe too weak for a few headphones, but foe most works fine. Also Anni is made as a comapanion for Qutest and with some good PSU they both together...- Alucard1

The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")
They sound dark, warm, fast, deep, with pushed forward huge hard kicking deep bass, little bit lack of details on top end but they are full of music. Without any pikes, with right tonality, sounding kinda open because of this slohic system but in comparision with open cans, still like closed...- Alucard1

I think you hear the diffrence between them. I remember Hugo2 sound thinner and more shouty than amplifier in TT2. TT2 is good for almost any headphones as a combo, Hugo 2 mainly as a dac. Sometimes he just catch good synergy. Espacialy with thick sounding headphones.- Alucard1

This onboard amp in Hugo2 its not the power beast but sometimeshe can make a good job. He plays very good with D8000 for example.- Alucard1

Well, saying Qutest its too intesne, i specifically mean pushed forward midrange, what bring overall close to the listener sound, with lot of details coming right into you. This DAC play that way, but is also very threedimensional with good layering and speed. Anni is kinda tube soundng...- Alucard1

If you fear noise of the fan, ithink is not that loud when Anni is in standby mode. First couple minutes is little bit loud but after that he went more silnet. Problem its not existing when you have different PSU witch power switch. Otherwise you can always just switch off whole system from...- Alucard1

in terms of amplfier Anni is much better than Hugo2 output but in therms of DAC i prefer Hugo2 or Hugo TT2 signature. Its has more distance from listener, its more refined and relaxed, especially TT2. I was hearing TT2 like a 3 weeks ago and it has no need any external ampfier. Its a complete...- Alucard1
