The Zishan dsd's corner
Using Google translate I got this: "Upgrade the magic version of the analog board op amp section to provide + / _12V power supply LPF circuit using AD8620A OP using AD797 and related circuit parameters to make appropriate adjustments" Do you think is worth the upgrade? Obscure Chinese DAPs
It has very good opinions on taobao but, I'm between this one, Zishan dsd 4497 upgraded version or Saomai Ha8. They have very good specs, specially the Saomai ha8 (es9038q2m, Bluetooth 5.0 and a output power of 1000mW @ 32Ω) and is only $82.- Alex3221

Obscure Chinese DAPs
Between S1, X2 and N3 I prefer the N3 hands down. Has more power output, bidirectional Bluetooth, better UI and better sound quality. The N3 has a U-shaped signature while the S1 and X2 has a more neutral/brighter signature.- Alex3221

The Zishan dsd's corner
Yes, I have 2 IEMs with balanced outputs. That I can conclude with your thoughs that the DSD have less power output than N3 and M3s. N3 is a really good DAP but it's not a big upgrade from my V20 in terms of amplification and sound quality. Is Swapping op-amps on DSD difficult? Which have...- Alex3221

The Zishan dsd's corner
Thank you for the long reply, I owned a N3 a couple of months back (and I really liked it), but now I want an upgrade (sonically and more power would be fine). I tend to like neutral or a little bit brighter sound signatures, also I don't have any problem with u-shaped signatures either (like...- Alex3221
