This listing is for the magnificent Wells Audio Dragon lvl 2. This is a TOTL amp, despite the misleading price. It is incredibly detailed, has fantastic staging capabilities, and is very linear. The tubes add just that bit of euphoria, however, to keep everything erroring on the side of musical. That makes it a perfect amp for headphones (like the HE1000se) that can be a touch harsh upstairs. It adds just the right bit of smoothness to the treble, without loosing any extension or detail. This amp comes with the stock TAD 12BH7 tubes (which are my favorite), a backup set of the stock tubes, a pair of 1959 6DJ8 Amperex Bugle Boys (which add an extra hint of warmth), a pair of 12BH7 JJ's (which are... fine), and a pair of 12BH7 EH (which are great to have if you need to burn in something on your amp, and don't want to waste your good tubes). The powercable is a 1m Audio Art eCryo cable, and also included, if you are interested, are a 1m long pair of Audio Art eCryo XLR interconnects, or a .5m pair of eCryo RCA interconnects. This is part of a system that I had built from the ground up to make sure every part had perfect synergy with the others. This system included the HE1000se, Wells Audio Dragon lvl 2, Sonnet Morpheus mk1, Cayin I-dap 6, and a Keces BP-1200 power conditioner. All power and interconnect cables are by Audio Art. Although it breaks my heart to do it, I am selling the whole thing. If this system is so perfect, why am I selling it? I have issues, do to my work, that makes my shoulder rather sensitive, and long headphone listening sessions, cause my shoulders to get real sore, so I am having no choice but to go the IEM route.
