They're very open, holographic and highly resolving, while being really smooth and laid back for a stat, and with slightly better bass than most stats. I don't think there is a headphone under $7k that outperforms them. But given I have the SGL Sr., the HE90 and R10 (all much more expensive), and because of my upcoming cross country move, I'm putting these up for sale.

Headphones are in 100% functional order, with no channel imbalances. I think the dealer used them as a demo pair initially, as there are a few microscopic nicks that seem to be from picking up/setting down that were on them when I received them. These are VERY small and the headphones still look to be in excellent condition overall--so much so that when I received my NIB second pair, I sold them instead and kept these. But see the pics below (last 4 pics).

The manual/warranty info is still sealed in the box, and comes with the wooden box and outer slit. I've had these almost a year, so the factory warranty is essentially up, fyi. I've factored that into the price, as well as the cosmetic condition.

Price is set at $5300 shipped (+3% PP fees if you prefer invoice), which again accounts for the few nicks on the headphones, plus an extra discount for a quick sale. I'll be moving across the country starting the middle of next week, and will need to postpone the sale at that point and revisit in January (if that happens, the price will be just a bit higher fyi).
