For sale is my Stax SRM-1 Mk2 amplifier. I bought this from the highly respected spritzer of Mjolnir audio, who had refurbished and slightly modified this amplifier. The amp originally had two normal bias sockets, but spritzer modified it so that it now has one normal bias socket and one pro bias socket. I've used both outputs and they both work very well.

The amplifier has a very minor humming/buzzing sound in one of the channels that is slightly audible when no music is playing, but I can't hear it when music is playing. It is slightly louder from the pro bias socket than the normal bias socket, it doesn't change whether the volume is turned up or down, and it happens regardless of whether a source is connected or not. I asked spritzer about the hum and here's what he said:

Not sure what might cause that, could be something as simple as a slight extra load on your mains which translates to the channel next to the transformer. It's not something I'd be worried about.
