I am selling my Romi Audio modded Calyx M (inclusive a 400GB Sandisk microSD card full of legally acquired High-Res and CD quality music)

Romi Audio guys told me they „add on some components and circuit inside. We mod the dac chip and line output using the current boose circuit to upgrade the soundstage ,detail , airly and dynamic. Add some caps to make the power supply to strong . And place the copper shielding paper on the pcb to kill blackgound noise“

The mod did cost about 300 Euros inclusive shipping, maybe a bit less. I did have to pay around 200 Euros only for tax, which was INSANE!! So all in all I paid about 900.- Euros.

The unit is in top quality except a tiny scratch on the left side as seen on the pic down below. Also: the volume slider does not go to 100% anymore after the mod (because of the tweaks inside the housing), but only to about 90% which wasn´t a problem for me at all because I didn´t get to the 100% anyways (earbleeding levels), but just you know.

I prefer the modded Calyx M over the original one, maybe because it has an increased resolution (without being harsh). Those liquid mids are to die for. But as I do need more money after I bought my LPGT ti and I also have a Calyx M spare unit, I decided to let this one go.

Also, if you want, I can send you the Fidelizer firmware mod for the Calyx M (for which I paid $ 100.-)
