- new version with newest version of pads, stock cable
- purchased as open-box unit, I only added a few hours of listening
- purchased to try a simple experiment but didnt have same effect as HD650
- stock vs stock, I prefer HD600 over HD650, see above link for some impressions.
- mod vs mod, I prefer HD650, hence HD600 sale. Plus want funds for Stax.
- I did remove the spidercage+foam but had little measured effect on frequency response, see above link. I then applied some Damplifier Pro to hold magnet in place and to possibly help with any possible enclosure resonance but I cant possibly tell the difference, like KISS mod sans foam.
