Bought from here last week. As per my comment I replaced the cups and also the damping material behind the grills with the originals I still had. I'm including brand new foams for the earpads (part 032950) and seller's custom damping. This is now a nicer ''8.5-ish'' condition HD540 again, close to how Sennheiser put these on the market. Intact pleather on the pads = bonus!
The very last remnant of recent defected headphones that I have no use for is the pictured old type headband. It's yours.
