Mjolnir SRD-7 in excellent condition. Built like a tank. Looks and works great.

Second owner. Briefly used the Mjolnir with the Wadia 151 (25wpc), bel canto c5i (60wpc), Wyred4Sound mINT (100wpc) and Dussun T6 (100wpc) integrated amplifiers to drive the SR-L500 Mk.2 and SR-007 Mk.1.

Recently picked up the Mjolnir KGSSHV, so the SRD-7 is up for sale.

Lists for $820, with shipping from Iceland currently running at about $100. Selling for $1.00. Buyer covers ConUS shipping and ancillaries.

NOTE: I also have two nice sets of jumpers that I can sell with the Mjolnir SRD-7: (i) Harmonic Tech Melody PCOCC, 6 inches long with spades on one end, bananas on the other for $25; (ii) Furutech/TDK PCOCC, 12 inches with bananas on both ends for $35. See last two photos, respectively.

hows the sound compare to the kgsshv for the 007s?

The KGSSHV sounds more authoritative, open and detailed (and it should, for about 3x the price).
The (Class A) Dussun integrated was my favorite amp with the SRD-7, and made a very good pairing with the 007 (and L500 Mk.2).

I'm in somewhat of a conundrum - I plan to upgrade my stat rig, a Bryston 4BSST2 into a Mjolnir SRD-7. Was thinking of going to either the Lundahl SRD-7 units, or a proper KGSSHV...
I guess I'm wondering if, when pushed by an overkill amp like the 4BSST2 and a better transformer, the performance approaches a direct drive unit like the KGSSHV.

Glad you are enjoying your KGSSHV and best of luck with the Mjolnir SRD-7! For anyone wondering, I have owned it simultaneously with the SRD-7 Mk.2 and found the Mjolnir unit to be a step up in SQ, so well worth the price.

The Lundahl transformers will do a better job (and will require a beefier amp pairing), but--based on my discussions with Spritzer--the transformer eventually becomes the limiting factor (independent of the separate amplifier's power rating), especially with hard-to-drive loads (like the 007 Mk.1) which demand more current.

Thank you for the Mjolnir SRD-7 endorsement. It is an excellent unit.
