Up for your consideration is a Grado SR 225. Great sounding headphone that's clear and dynamic. Really good headphones if you don't want to bother with complex dacs and amps, as they sound good off anything. Doesn't come with the adapter in the photo, I forgot to bring it with me to Florida.

I think the older models sound much better.
