Treble 'peakiness' mentioned in above article largely overcome by a good copper like the Sony Kimber balanced cable I would say

Agree however that bass can be slightly overdone..

I'll join the MV1 gang in a few weeks and looking at a balanced cable.
So far, can only find MUC-S12NB1

Are there other options?
