Whilst I have heard both headphones, this was some time ago and for a short period of time.

Which headphone would you say gives you more slam and a more punchy bass presentation? I would have thought it would be the CRBN and does that headphone gives you the farts? (Stax farts)

The CRBN has more slam...they have advantages over each other...that's why they complement each other so well

The CRBN have fart, but when they are in place, everything is perfect

No problem..

Did you try to break the seal on the Stax? As apparently it adds an incredible amount of slam.

I never do tests or mods with headphones...because normally, what you gain in one way, you lose in another...It's my experience...but let everyone do what they want...they are their headphones

Hey, I have Audeze CRBN...damn..yes...when I listen to them, I am so excited that I fart all the time while listening...
My wife doesn't like that part/farting...but...what can you do.

Hoping to hear that combo tonight.

So far heard the CC on 3 different amps. It's really superb. So naturally a pilgrimage to headphone amp Mecca (Aegis) is now in order.
