I'm having some encoding problems in the music tags:

The values should be:
Title: Canção de enga...
Artist: António Variações
Album: de António Variações


But in other album he can decode some special characters correctly:


In this example he decoded correctly the ó and the ã, but failed in the çã, the album should be A invenção do...

Any ideas what I can do to fix these tags?

Anyone tried to play MQA files? When they are playing and I am browsing the m0 pro, there are some microcuts/static noise.

I have some MQA files, but I've never noticed the flaw.
But I have the old firmware, I never updated it.

Check if your left & right channels are reversed, mine only has static noises when that happens

It only happens with MQA files and mostly when I am browsing the m0 pro and hearing music. Seems, it doesn't have processing power to handle the files. I will probably downgrade to FLAC only

Is the M0 pro bluetooth signal strongest and more stable than the M0, especialy in Aptx ?

M0 Pro has more advanced Bluetooth module and overall Bluetooth performance is better.

Can I use the shanling 4.4mm to 3.5mm balanced adapter, with a 3.5mm unbalanced?

No! Only use Balanced adapter with Balanced connection.

Noted, will report to software team, they need to adjust system/fonts for this.

No! Only use Balanced adapter with Balanced connection.

Worth mentioning perhaps is that the M0 Pro own 3.5mm balanced output is designed in the way that it can be used with 3.5mm unbalanced cable. The 3.5-4.4 adapter is meant strictly for connecting to 4.4mm balanced cables.

I’ve just recently got an M0 Pro after being a very happy original M0 user for the last six years. My M0 Pro has broken in and is sounding fantastic with a pair of NiceHCK F1 Pro planar magnetics that I’m using with Final Audio black type E ear tips that balance the treble nicely. It has improved on the original M0 with better imaging and more articulate bass.

I wonder if Shanling could release their own planar IEM that was tuned to go with the M0 Pro. I am knocked out by the combination of the tiny player and the planar sound of my NiceHCK F1 Pros that have good tone and timbre too.

I also have a 1.5tb micro SD card on order which was one reason for upgrading to the M0 Pro. I will be able to fit every CD and download I’ve obtained over the past 30 years in Apple Lossless - 3400 albums. I find it quite mind blowing to have a room full of CDs fitting in a device the size of a matchbox.

My clip broke. Having a hard time getting the purchase approved at allipress. Why does Amazon or Ebay not gave them?

Still the same problem with MQA files, the playback is choppy in the last firmware, it don't stop, just seems the player is struggle to play those files. I will just use Flac from now on.

Shanling don't make any claims that the M0 Pro supports MQA do they? So it will just decode the files as normal PCM and ignore any special MQA bit patterns embedded in the data.

I though I have read somewhere in the official product page that it supports MQA, but can't find it now. Anyway, I don't really care about MQA, but have a bunch of files will just get them in Flac.

M0 Pro has no support for MQA files.
