Fellow cigar enthusiast, very nice. I've had some amazing sticks this year, probably best value to performance ratio was the Avo Fogata in Toro; vanilla cream undertone throughout, lemongrass, coffee, orange zest, caramel, sweet cedar, white pepper. Bought 2 boxes, put away in tupperdors. Can't wait to dig into them but they need to rest for a few months at 58-60%RH/70F. The Avo is like an $8-$10 stick btw.

I bought t50rp50th a few months ago just because I liked the look.
But, when I got them, I was surprised that the sound was that good, too...for 250€
And I almost didn't use them the whole time.
I didn't like the stock pads. They were more on the ear rather than around the ear.
A couple of days ago, I received new pads (Aliexpress, of course ), and now it's a whole new experience.

Flight Of The Wounded (2022) by Teramaze - Teramaze are a very good Australian progressive metal band I discovered tonight while on another roon safari. They've been around for thirty years and have produced at least eleven albums in that time, so it's surprising I've never heard of them. They add a (very) small amount of harsh vocals here and there but for the most part the vocals are clean and extremely good. Still smitten with the HD800S so they got the head time again tonight, what can I say, I enjoy being pampered and they do wonderful things to my ears.

Slowdive (2017), Slowdive

Just caught these folks live and got to briefly chat with Neil Halstead afterward. Genuinely surprised by a few things about the show. For such low-key music, there was a wild amount of energy from both the crowd and from the band. The crowd was also a lot younger than I expected (Neil said afterward he was actually bummed it was a 21-and-over show, so maybe their new fans are even younger than what I saw). And they played some deep cuts from their early EPs alongside an unexpected favorite from their often-overlooked album Pygmalion. I went to the show expecting a nice bit of nostalgia, but came away shocked by just how current and energetic they sounded.
